These highlights have been specially picked for this themed itinerary:
Rock Climbing, Hong Kong
Rock climbing is becoming a big pastime in Hong Kong with rock faces suitable for all levels. Some of the best places to climb include the country parks of Lantau and Shek O, as well as Kowloon Peak and Lion Rock – some are so close to the city that you’ll be able to see the glint of the skyscrapers as you climb.
Bungee Jumping, Macau
Ascend the Macau Tower to experience the world’s highest bungee jump 233 metres up with a free-fall of 200 metres. As well as also being able to do a night bungee, there is also SkyJump, SkyWalk and Tower Climb, all heart-pounding activities at dizzying heights.
Rafting, Yangshuo
Whilst not edge-of-your-seat stuff, rafting through the incredibly beautiful countryside around Yangshuo is still a fun and adventurous way to explore. Drifting on a bamboo raft down the Yu Long River, on a ride that can last from half an hour to five hours.
Mountain Biking, Yunnan
Yunnan Province is the perfect place to explore China’s great outdoors and is a mountain biker’s dream. It is possible to navigate some seriously spectacular scenery, from high mountain passes to alpinesque lakes and forests, as well as getting an insight into some of the many minority cultures that call this province home.
